Every enquiry is read by an engineer rather than routed through a qualification queue. The more concrete you are about the estate, the more useful the first reply will be.
Before you write
- Name the source systems, even roughly. Vendor and version help more than volume does.
- Say what the deadline is and what is driving it, whether that is a licence expiry, an audit or a platform shutdown.
- Tell us the constraint that cannot move. That is usually the thing that decides the design.
